Funding to help better understand the grapevine vein clearing virus

Dr. Wenping Qiu, agriculture research professor at the Missouri State University Mountain Grove campus, received $10,170 from the Missouri Department of Agriculture for a collaborative study on epidemics and the transmission of grapevine vein clearing virus (GVCV) in Missouri vineyards.

Dr. Clydette Alsup-Egbers, associate professor of agriculture at Missouri State University, said that garlic is one of many crops that you can get started this year and harvest next summer.
