Meeting Details

1. This is the first meeting of the Spring ’07 semester.
2. Andrew and Andrea could not make it tonight due to class meetings they must attend; Jason the secretary will host the meeting.
3. The 2007 AITP 12^th National Collegiate Conference is coming up soon:
   1. It will take place March 29^th to the 31^st in Detroit, Michigan.
   2. This year’s conference will feature exhibits from Microsoft, Robert Half Technology, and more.
   3. Competitions of all sorts will take place.
   4. Leaders from the IS/IT field will give speeches.
   5. Scholarships and prizes will be awarded.
4. We discussed the cost of attending:
   1. Convention Admission is $250.
   2. Hotel and travel expenses are still to be determined.
   3. Sponsors and SOFA may be able to pay for part of the costs.
5. Edward Jones could not be here for this meeting due to the delay of the beginning of this semester.
6. Meetings will take place on Wednesday at 6:30 P.M. this semester.
