We’ve got a real exciting meeting tomorrow with HealthMEDX in Glass 342 at 6:30 PM. Be sure to make it out, we’re going to have several members of the professional chapter in attendance as well as a photographer for the new COBA brochure.
Also, we have a few things I meant to send out last week about the NCC and forgot about:
- I want to personally encourage all members to consider participating in the AITP National Collegiate Conference March 25-28. If you don’t know what that is, you can visit http://www.aitp.org/ncc to find out more.
- If you are interested in attending we also want to encourage you to consider participating in one of the competitions being offered. You can check out http://www.aitpncc-contests.org/ for more information.
- If you have a contact in a local business that you think might be interested in being a sponsor or exhibitor, please talk to them to see if they would be interested in supporting / meeting the top IT students from all over the country. If you find someone who’s interested, let us know and we’ll handle the rest.
- We also want to know if you’ve been participating in any service activities that we can mention when applying for SOFAC funding to help pay for the trip. Let us know what you’ve been up to and we’ll even feature you on the website.
On a final note, the position of treasurer is open, so please attend tomorrow’s meeting if you are interested in filling that position. We look forward to seeing you there!
