Geoffrey Kunkler (BFA in Ceramics 2006) was recently named studio manager at Phoenix Fired Arts in Joplin, Missouri, a privately run community art center. Geoffrey completed his MFA at the University of Kansas in 2011 where he focused on ceramic installation work. He will have a solo show at Phoenix Fired Arts which opens September 19 and runs through October 16.
Zach Tate (BFA in ceramics 2008) had his work published in the Sept. 2014 issue of Ceramics Monthly magazine. The piece was juried into the KC Clay Guild Teabowl National Exhibition on display at Avila College in Kansas City, Missouri.
Laurie Marshall (BFA in Metals and Jewelry, 2008), who went on to earn an MFA in metal at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2013, has landed a full time job at the Center for Metal Arts in Florida, New York.
