Preseason practice No. 20 Tuesday at Plaster Field was a 24-period session in full pads. The two-hour event was highlighted by one-on-one drills and plenty of team work in preparation for Wednesday’s scrimmage — the third of camp.
The Bears officially close fall camp Wednesday with a two-hour scrimmage, starting around 3:30 p.m. and concluding just prior to the 5:45 Meet the Bears event at Plaster.
The annual fan event will feature free pizza, Hiland Dairy ice cream and Pepsi products along with interactive activity stations, drills, photo opportunities and autographs. Team posters, schedule cards and other information will also be available at the event.
Meet the Bears is expected to conclude around 7 p.m. On Thursday, MSU will officially begin gameday preparation for its Sept. 3 opener at Arkansas, a 6 p.m. start in Fayetteville.
