It’s our bye week this week. I think it’s a time to regroup and get healthy. Just because it is a week to regroup does not we need to take this week for granted. I think that most of the players on the team realize that we have another great opportunity this week. There are only couple more weeks left in the season, and it seems like my five years here have gone by so swiftly. I hope to end the season on a good note and leave the underclassmen with something to look forward to. See you next week when nationally-ranked Indiana State comes to Plaster!

It feels good to finally have gotten a win last week. I really feel like a weight has been lifted off the team’s back. Even though there still is a long way to go, we are confident enough to strive through adversity and finish out the season right. I cannot explain how good it feels to get that win even though the season has not gone the way I had hoped it would have gone. I could not be any prouder of my team and the way they not only played, but the way they showed enough heart to go out each and every week and fight. I am eager to have get this opportunity to face another opponent especially for Homecoming. LET’S GO BEARS!!!!!

This season has been a very tough one, and it’s also been a tough semester so far. With a couple of my most challenging classes going on, I think that it has been stressful on my brain, but I still have the most confidence in my abilities and the abilities of everybody surrounding me. I know that I am not the only one struggling as of now, but I feel like good things are coming to us. Why not have the good fortunes start for the team this week and finish it up the rest of the year? I am over half way done with my senior year and still excited to have the opportunity to compete against another opponent this week against Western Illinois. LET’S GO BEARS!!!

I know that for all the players on this team that things have not gone the way we predicted or wanted, but I want everybody to stick together. Me and the rest of the seniors have five games left to leave an impression on the rest of the team. I can’t wait for another opportunity to play a top team in our league this Saturday. It will be a challenge, but everything to this point has been a challenge. LET’S GO BEARS!!

It has been a long time coming for me. My fifth year here at Missouri State University, and I am blessed to still be playing football. I cannot express how excited I am for this first game of the year against Arkansas. Camp seemed like it flew by and so did the first couple weeks of school. Now we are a day away from game time. I feel like I am going to be playing in my first game all over again. I also am glad to be named one of the team captains for this year which really shows how much my teammates and coaches think of me. I thank them for giving me this opportunity and I will not disappoint them. I think that is all I got for this week. Go Bears beat the Hogs!!!
