No, I am not referring to the time period. 1984 is a retro arcade located in downtown Springfield. It has over 70 different vintage arcade games like Frogger, Pac-Man, Tetris, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong and so many more. Also, this is yet another college-friendly priced activity. All you need is $7.50 for admission since all the arcade games are free. They only other thing you would potentially need are some quarters for pinball, however with the plethora of games they have you won’t feel the need for anything else.
Since all the games can be played for free, it is a great way to try out some old school games without spending a bunch of money. Personally, I enjoy not having to worry about how many lives I have left and having the opportunity to play as many times as I want with no extra charge. 1984 is always buzzing with people and is a great place for some unique fun.
