Your email account is essential when it comes to security. With access to your email, attackers could also access your social media accounts and even banking information. Follow these steps to keep your email secure:
- Keep your password secure. Change your password regularly, use a long password, and don’t use the same password from other sites or accounts.
- Avoid malware and phishing. Do not click links in emails. Avoid opening unknown attachments.
- Use good security questions. Do not use questions whose answers can be found online on social media or google. Make sure they are unique to you.
With proper email security you can help keep your digital life secure. Always be careful with your password, avoid suspicious emails, and use creative and unique security questions.
