Dr. Yungcheng Cheng, head of the Department of Mathematics, was recently elected to the Board of Governors of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). His term will run from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2012. Dr. Cheng’s election will benefit math education at Missouri State because the University will have a committed voice on this select board.
