Plaster Stadium gates open and all Hands-on Activities and Displays are ongoing
11:35 AM – 12:20 PM –
Kick-off and Welcome by President Clif Smart and Dr. Tammy Jahnke to mark the beginning of the eclipse at 11:44 AM (the time the moon starts across the solar disk). Entertainment during this time includes a Moon Walk Demonstration and a Zombie Dance.
1:05 – 1:20 PM
Viewing the Maximum Coverage of the Sun by the Moon at 1:13 PM
Once on campus, attendees will need to enter through the west-side gate. Concessions will be open with hydration sessions set-up around the field. We encourage you to bring your own water jugs. All attendees will receive a pair of glasses designed for safe viewing of the Solar Eclipse. A variety of hands-on activities and displays will be going on during the day. The Jumbo Tron will be carrying Solar Eclipse Events from around the World live as well as a variety of eclipse related programming, interviews, etc. throughout the day.
