Missouri State named top college for online computer science programs

Computer Science Online, a premium website for potential and current students considering a career with computers, recently awarded Missouri State University’s online computer science program with a top recognition. Missouri State University has been ranked number three out of 42 in online programs in computer science and related fields by exceeding the standard of excellence when it comes to online learning.

Missouri State computer science student wins awards

Gregory Donnell, a computer science major at Missouri State University, has been competing in programming competitions his entire college career. Donnell recently placed 1st in the Mobile Applications division and 2nd in the Microsoft Office division of the Association of Information Technology Association conference last month.

STEM students travel to Women in Computing Conference

Thirteen Missouri State students, primarily from the computer science department, attended the Women in Computing (WIC) Conference in Kansas City Oct. 18-19. At the MINK WIC Conference (Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas), the programming included keynote speakers, workshops, panels and networking activities.
