Sad News –
Judy Banks, wife of previous Dean – Larry Banks, passed away in October. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton church, assisted by Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, on December 22, 2015 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Banks Family Scholarship in care of the Missouri State Foundation (http://www.missouristatefoundation.org), the American Diabetes Association, or any charity of choice.

Request for Proposals – Faculty Research Grants

The spring deadline for Faculty Research Grants (FRG) is February 5, 2016. These grants are one-year (max $7500) of funding.
The grants are to support new research, creative or scholarly activities or for high quality projects not likely to receive external funding.
To be eligible, a person must: a) be a ranked faculty member; b) have submitted the final report for his/her previous FRG to the Graduate College prior to last February 5th; c) not received a summer fellowship for 2016 from the Graduate College, and d) remain with the University for a year after the project is completed (spring 2018).

Due Dates
- Summer Schedule Proposals are due ASAP.
- Assessment Plan updates are due by February 1 from each program!!!!
- Faculty are notified of final decisions regarding sabbaticals by February 15, 2016.
