Short Term Proposal Deadline
The deadline for submitting Study Away Programs departing in March, May, June, July, and August 2018 is Friday, September 29. Find information on program proposals and other faculty resources here.
Lastly, 701 students participated in Study Away Programs in 2016-17, which is an increase of 154 students, or 26 percent, compared to 2015-16. While the numbers are an important key performance indicator, the quality of MSU programs is Study Away’s primary focus. Study Away values the investment of time, energy and resources of MSU faculty as they develop experiences that prioritize student learning and development. Thank you for highlighting the importance of a global perspective in the life of the MSU community.

Greenwood Elementary Students Celebrate Eclipse
Greenwood’s first day of school became an “eclipse celebration” with all students and adults at Greenwood wearing a wonderful black eclipse t-shirt as the picture indicates. Elementary students learned about this event as they went about their usual schedule until close to the full eclipse time. Students in grades 6 – 12 celebrated at Plaster Stadium with all the other attendees from around the area. It is truly a “first day” they will remember.
