“BACK to the FUTURE”

Dear Sigmund,

It’s been almost a month since I last wrote. Just learned in a joint meeting with Psychology and Counseling faculties that the Forest Institute merger cannot take place due to a number of details. Even so, the hundreds of hours of work by scores of individuals from CHHS and Carrington coupled with interest by our own fine Counseling faculty has actually generate enthusiasm that can now be channeled internally as we explore the feasibility of developing new programs sans sifting through the detail rubble. The entire MSU and greater Southwest Missouri community owe President Clif Smart and Provost Frank Einhellig (plus a host of others) a debt of gratitude for the professional manner with which this matter was handled. Ergo, in a word: THANKS!
