CRM Scholarships:
Crime and Society Scholarship Fund:There are currently no requirements for this scholarship other than being a student seeking a degree in the Criminology Field.
Frank P. Briggs Law Enforcement Career Development Scholarship: $1,500 scholarships will be awarded annually to an undergraduate student seeking a degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice. The student must be a full-time active duty law enforcement officer holding the rank of Sergeant or below. The student must submit a letter of recommendation from a fellow officer. Students receiving tuition reimbursements from their law enforcement agency are not eligible.
Scholarship in Societal Studies: Awarded annually to a full-time student majoring in the Criminology Department. Sophomores or greater must be in good academic standing. Awards made with regard for financial need.
Michael K. Carlie Make a Difference Scholarship: The Recipient of this award will be an undergraduate student, in good standing at Missouri State University, who has completed at least 60 hours of university-level course work and have at least a 2.5 GPA in the criminology major with at least 12 completed credit hours in that major. Two letters of recommendation should accompany the application. Those letters should come from individuals who can best assess the applicant’s contribution to working with and making a difference in the lives of children in need. The student must be properly enrolled at Missouri State University and majoring in that department.
