Day at the Lake
September 3, 2014
Helping people with disabilities enjoy water sports and activities
Water is an incredible equalizer. It provides a chance for people with disabilities to enjoy the freedom that only water can provide by removing those land-based barrier they face daily. It allows them a way to compensate for whatever loss of function they experience in a low-impact, near weightless environment that refreshes the mind and body.
The “Day at the Lake” will provide the opportunity for those with disabilities of all ages to enjoy canoeing, kayaking, fishing and so much more! They can make their own crafts, learn about area habitats, see scuba diving demonstrations and best of all spend time in the outdoors and on the water! Please join us in making this day unforgettable!
We need help with planning, volunteers, donations, sponsorships and SO MUCH MORE!!!
