Professor Rodney Hero of UC-Berkeley will be here March 3 to deliver “Race, Ethnicity, and (In) Equality in American Politics.” These issues are especially relevant as they are addressed in the race for the presidency by candidates of both parties.
The address is the second in the Meador Center’s Speaker Series, whose theme this year is “Created Equal: Rights, Liberties, and Citizenship.” There is also a public form on Friday, March 4, in the Diversity Center (Washington Baptist Church across from HSA). The forum will address the issues of race that confront many campuses across the country, with Missouri being at the center of this debate. The participants in the forum are listed below.
