MSU Association of Fashion & Design presents the 4th Annual Catwalk for the Cure

Friday, October 12, 2012 @ 7:00 PM

If any fashion savvy students are looking for something to do tonight, head downtown the the Randy Bacon Photography Studio and Gallery for a student run fashion show. Four years ago, MSU Fashion students came up with the idea of holding a fashion show to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks. The show has been a huge success and it continues to benefit the finding of a cure for breast cancer.

There will be raffles and t-shirts available for those interested and there will be cake afterwards.

Tickets are 5$ in advance from Ashley Trigger and 8$ at the door.

So There I Was… Storytelling Series

Saturday, October 13, 2012 @ 9:00 PM

Everyone loves hearing stories. Okay, so that may not be completely true but for those of you who do love hearing stories, there is a place for you. On the second Saturday of the month, fellow Springfielders gather on C-Street to downtown’s best live music and hear amazing and funny stories by locals. There are no rehearsed lines and no special effects. Oh and did I mention… It’s free. Head down to Q Enoteca for food, smoothies and coffee and to hear some of the best stories around.
