Missouri State University has recently recieved a national award for educational fundraising programs from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. The award honors “superior fundraising programs” across the country. Only five schools in the Public Comprehensive Institution category recieved the award. I do credit all our alumni and development staff and a very dedicated Board of Directors of the Missouri State Foundation and the thousands of donors who made gifts to education. The real winners, however, are the students. A very special thank you goes to our staff and volunteers and donors. In these hard economic times people still make gifts to Missouri State, in fact, we could break last years all-time giving record.
