During his time as a Missouri State student, Brent was involved in many student organizations. He served as Speaker Pro Tem of the Student Government Association for two years.
Brent’s Missouri State work history began as the Director of Annual Giving and Coordinator of The Bears Fund. From there, he transitioned to the role of Assistant Athletics Director and Director of Athletics Development which included marketing and fundraising for Athletics Development. In 2007, he assumed the role of Executive Director of the Missouri State University Foundation and Vice President for University Advancement.
