Nuts were collected from improved Black Walnut Cultivars. The nuts were placed in cold storage in early fall and planted in the field on 11-30-18. Wire was placed over the nuts to keep the critters from helping themselves. On Tuesday 8-7-18 storms passed over the Fruit Station and damaged one of the Pecan Trees in the Northern Pecan Tree Cultivar Trial.
