On behalf of the Institute for Humane Studies, Missouri State University Global Studies program is pleased to announce that the 2013 application is now open for paid summer public policy internships through the Koch Summer Fellow Program (KSFP).
Highlights:
- Eight weeks of paid work experience with federal and state-based think tanks, and policy organizations (placements based on interests and availability)
- Opportunities to learn from experts and fellow participants during two weeklong policy seminars in Washington, DC
- Meaningful interaction with individuals interested in advancing individual liberty and economic opportunity through public policy
- Stipend, travel allowance, and housing assistance
How does KSFP translate into a career in policy?
Just ask Elizabeth Robinson, a KSFP alum who interned with the Alabama Policy Institute before her senior year of college. After graduating this past May, Elizabeth returned to the Alabama Policy Institute as a full-time policy analyst and grant coordinator.
