Lee National Denim Day events planned Oct. 1-5

Members of the Campus Community:

Please consider participating in the Staff Senate’s week-long fundraising drive to support Breast Cancer Research.

The week culminates with the Lee National Denim Day, one of the largest single-day fundraisers for breast cancer, a disease that impacts countless lives every year.  There are at least 18 known survivors on our campus.

Among the week’s events is a University-wide Luncheon on Wednesday October 3rd from 11:00am -1:00pm, in the Plaster Student Union Ballroom.  Also, all employees are invited to donate $5.00 to the cause and wear Denim and their BearWear on Friday, October 5.

A collection table will be located in Plaster Student Union on the second floor from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) during the week of October 1-5, or you may contribute to your building collection coordinator.  A list of collection coordinators follows this message.

Or, if you prefer, you may contact Andrea Weber, Denim Day Committee Chair at

Working together, we can make a difference.  Thank You.
