On Saturday, December 21st, Computer Services will be performing network infrastructure and software upgrades to a number of mission critical information systems between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. During this time, many University networking, telephone, and computer resources, such as the My Missouri State portal, wireless, web servers, Banner, email, and Blackboard Learn, etc., will have interruptions of service.
This interruption of service is necessary because network and computer infrastructure, operating systems, and software applications must be updated regularly to ensure optimal service to the University community. Departments and users are encouraged to plan accordingly and to not depend on the services during the scheduled outage.
