New Fee Waiver Credit Course System
We are pleased to offer you a new and enhanced Credit Fee Waiver system for all benefit eligible employees.
Effective March 30, 2015, benefit eligible employees will be able to submit their credit few waiver requests through this new enhanced system. One significant improvement will be the communication received throughout the process between the requester, student if other than the employee, Human Resources, and Financial Services. Customers can expect an open dialogue from the time they submit their request through the approval.
Another significant change is the timing of when the fee waiver is applied/processed. Requesters will now know in advance when their fee waiver will be processed. Not only will they receive email communication, they will know the fee waiver will be processed at the end of the first week of class.
In order to grant the benefit to a dependent, they must agree to the limited release of information about the classes being taken.
Supervisors/Department Heads/Approvers will receive an email that includes instructions on how to access the new “Workflow” tab within MyMissouristate to easily review the employees’ request and take the necessary action.
Employees can access the system simply by following the steps below;
- Log in to the MyMissouristate Portal
- Click the Profile tab
- Scroll down to the Employment Details window
- Under Benefits, click Fee Waiver.
