To kick off the school year, we are spotlighting our new Leadership Programs Marketing Intern; Tobi Ponnle! She is a Public Relations major looking to graduate in 2019. Her top 5 strengths include learner, restorative, individualization, developer, and discipline. She was a major
asset to our 2016 Commerce Bank Emerging Leaders group! Her involvement at Missouri State has included a position as the Junior PHA Delegate for Xi Omicron Iota, Chief Justice for PanHellenic Association, Vice President of Rho Lambda Leadership Society and 2017 Homecoming Co-Chair.
When asked how leadership programs has made an impact, her response included…
“What impacted me the most about the Emerging Leaders Program is that I walked away
not only about my strengths and how to further cultivate them, but also about how I
can best work with those with different strengths. That’s not only great for campus
activities, but life in general.”
The advice she would give to younger students is..
“It’s easy to think that these programs are only for people who did Student Council or
National Honor Society in high school, but that’s not true. I think anyone who is willing
to get out of their comfort and has the drive to be the better themselves can gain a lot
from the leadership programs offered. There isn’t just one type of leader.”
We are so excited to see her excel in this position and be the wizard behind all things marketing! Welcome to the team, Tobi!
