On October 13th, faculty and staff advisors specializing in transfer student issues joined students in the Transitions Living-Learning Community in Kentwood Hall for a panel to discuss the most common issues facing transfer students like finding out who your advisor is and knowing how many of your last credits need to be upper division and taken at Missouri State. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about how to petition to have a course from another institution count for credit at Missouri State and what steps they need to be taking now to make sure that they are on track to graduate on time. Special thanks to Ross Hawkins, Transfer Staff Advisor; Kimberly Stagner, Transfer Staff Advisor in the College of Business; Judith Pickering, Transfer Staff Advisor in the College of Education; Hillary Mayes, Transfer Staff Advisor in the College of Health and Human Services; Dr. Stephen Berkwitz, Department Head, Religious Studies; and Dr. Kelly Wood, Transfer Faculty Advisor in Communications.
