The Southwest Region MAP Center and the Regional Instructional Facilitators provide training to teachers in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and performance-based assessment; assist DESE in the development of the statewide assessment system; and serve as a resource for assessment information to regional school districts.

As of July 1, 2010, the MAP Regional Instructional Facilitators will no longer be in existance. The state budget was cut and the two of us will be moving to other jobs. Danielle will be working for a district,I will be a math content person at SWRPDC and Mary Lou will be working for the SWRPDC also. This blog will come down at that time as will the MAP page for Missouri State. Mary Lou and I will continue at the same e-mails and Danielle can be reached at this address for about one more week. Thanks for working with us for the last 5 years.
