Job Title: Logistics Analyst Location: Springfield, MO

Status: Full Time position Compensation Type: Salary
Job Purpose: Support and assist the Account Management team’s current processes as well as future initiatives.
Reports to: Ed Zeller – Account Manager
Essential Job Functions:
- Create and distribute many types of periodic reports: operational reports, opportunity reports, KPI reports, etc.
- Assist in the management of processing, auditing, and paying $200 Million dollars of transportation expense
- Assist in implementing freight invoice processing for new locations and new countries
- Collect, Organize, and Manage an array of different types of carrier pricing documents
- Complete projects as assigned. Account Management team will maintain a list of initiatives and projects. Projects will range in complexity and scope starting smaller and growing in complexity with experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Microsoft Office Skills: Must have strong working knowledge of all Microsoft office products, especially EXCEL. Will be expected to create and utilize pivot tables, formulas, and macros regularly.
- Quick Learner: Will be expected to learn things quickly, and some things on your own. Required learning will range from industry knowledge to utilizing new software applications.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to work with large amounts of data, facts, figures, and number crunching. You will need to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions.
- Communication Skills: Ability to present your findings, or translate the data into an understandable document. You will need to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
- Critical Thinking: Must be able to think about a process or project critically enough to make the most efficient and effective decisions.
- Attention to Detail: All reports and processes are highly visible to clients, so you must be accurate, complete, and thorough.
- Conversational Spanish or other language is a plus but not required.
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics, International Business, or related field is required
- Professional experience is a plus but not required. This is an entry level position in which you will be challenged to learn the industry, this company, and how to be successful.
