A New York Times article put Ferguson, Missouri, native and Missouri State University alumnus Kevin Lotz on a path to founding a shelter for homeless lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer youth in New York City’s Upper West Side.

Alumnus honored as School Counselor of the Year finalist in Washington, D.C.

In January 2016, Rob Lundien had a day he’ll never forget. The 2002 Missouri State University alumnus was recognized in the White House by Michelle Obama as one of five School Counselor of the Year finalists.
