Everyone should have received an email Wednesday 5/22 with their discipline-specific and elective classes and workshop. If you did not receive the email please contact us immediately at 417-836-6607 or mfaa@missouristate.edu. There will be several more emails coming from your RA, teachers, and MFAA. Two More Days To Submit Course Selection Forms!

MFAA 13 students have two more days to submit their course selection and T shirt order form. All forms must be submitted by midnight Thursday, June 16th. The forms can be found here: http://www.missouristate.edu/mfaa/resources.htm. We will begin to register students in classes on Friday morning, and make the T shirt order Friday afternoon. Students should receive their class schedules via email by Wednesday, May 22.

Course descriptions and selection, t-shirt forms now online

Course descriptions for MFAA 2013 are now online! Emails have been sent to students and parents asking them to review course descriptions and complete the online elective course selection form indicating their top three choices for each elective period. We ask that students/parents reply as soon as possible (no later than May 16); we will begin enrolling students in classes May 20.

Upon submission of the course selection form, students will be prompted to order their Academy t-shirt. T-shirt orders will be finalized by May 16th as well.

Have you sent your Emergency Medical Form?

Every student attending MFAA 2013 must have an Emergency Medical Form on file. If you have not filled out a form and submitted it, please do so as soon as possible and include a scan of your medical insurance card if you have one. The medical form insures prompt medical attention should it be required while at the Academy. The form can be found here: http://www.missouristate.edu/mfaa/resources.htm.

Important Notice to MFAA ’13 Students and Parents!

A number of students and parents report not receiving the March 1 email. If you did not receive that message, please let us know by emailing mfaa@missouristate.edu. The Student Handbook and Emergency Medical Form resources are available online. If you have not sent the medical form, please do so as soon as possible. Last, please add our mailer address of coal@missouristatemailings.org to your address book to insure that you will receive future emails containing important information regarding this summer’s Academy. RA application review in progress

The Academy is suffering an embarrassment of riches! We’ve been overwhelmed by the response to the call for RA applications, and are working through them as quickly as we can. It’s gratifying to have so many highly qualified candidates, and gratifying that almost all are alums of MFAA. We hope to finish the process and announce the results early next week. Thanks to everyone who applied.

RA application now online

The Resident Assistant application form is now available online. We will begin reviewing applications on March 18th and continue until positions are filled.

The application PDF form requires Adobe Reader® to view and successfully complete. If no plugin is available to open PDF files within web browser, right-click on the document link to save the file to desktop and then open with Adobe Reader.

MFAA 2013 Student Handbook and Emergency Medical form now online

The Student Handbook and Emergency Medical Form for MFAA 2013 are now online. Members of this year’s Academy should download both documents; fill out the Medical Form and return it to us, and read the handbook to learn most of what you’ll need to know to prepare for your MFAA experience.

Also, please note the extension of the postmark deadline for the Medical Form and second program fee payment until March 28, 2013. If you are a student or parent/guardian of MFAA 2013 and did not receive the email sent March 1st, please contact us immediately to update your email address.
