ACMPE Scholarship

ACMPE Scholarship deadline is May 1. The ACMPE Scholarship Fund Inc. supports and promotes healthcare leaders’ personal and professional growth toward the advancement of the profession. The program supports individuals who, by virtue of experience, current position and plans demonstrate potential for contributing to the medical practice management profession.

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management, including public health, business administration, healthcare administration and other related areas.

ACHE Scholarships

The Albert W. Dent and Foster G. McGaw Graduate Student Scholarships are offered exclusively by the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) for students who are in the final year of a healthcare management graduate program. Each scholarship awards $5,000 to each recipient. Between the two, ACHE awards up to 20 scholarships each year. The deadline to apply for both is March 30, 2012. To determine your eligibility go to the scholarship Web pages on ache.org and view the information on the Albert W. Dent or Foster G. McGaw scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded in July.

Best Wishes!

Kelly Phillips, Missouri State MHA has recently accepted a new role within Mercy in the Operational Performance Improvement (Six Sigma) department. Her new title will be Six Sigma Black Belt. This is a great opportunity for Kelly and offers much in terms of future growth within the organization.

With Kelly moving on to her new position, this means that her current position, Recruitment Assistant to the Executive Director of Physician Recruitment will be open.
