Missouri State’s student-run newspaper The Standard earned 25 Division I awards at the Missouri College Media Association (MCMA) annual contest last weekend. Submissions are judged by reporters and editors across the state.
About the MCMA convention
The awards were announced at the annual MCMA convention, held this year on April 11 in Maryville, Missouri. Nine students and faculty advisor Jack Dimond attended the event, which offers professional development sessions and panel discussions.
