Missouri State’s Opera Workshop students will conduct a fall performance comprised of scenes from rarely heard works such as Britten’s Paul Bunyan, Douglas Moore’s The Ballad of Baby Doe, and Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges; comedic romps by Victor Herbert, Jacques Offenbach and Donizetti; and the classic power of scenes from Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Copland’s The Tender Land.

Missouri State’s Opera Theater provides extensive performance opportunities in collaboration with the University’s department of theatre and dance and the Springfield Regional Opera.
