Jennifer Rojas-McWhinney, Assistant Professor in the Department of Childhood Education and Family Studies, received the Certified Distance Educator Award. Professor Rojas-McWhinney attended showcase presentations and successfully completed the Blackboard Green Belt training sessions. Annice McLean, Senior Instructor, Reading Foundations and Technology, received the Certified Distance Educator Award. She has successfully completed her Blackboard Black Belt training and teaches instructional technology classes for pre-service teachers in the Reading Foundations and Technology Department. Prior to joining the Missouri State University faculty, Annice was an educator for over thirty years in the Missouri Public Schools System. Paula Rector, Senior Instructor of Criminology, was recognized for the Certified Distance Educator award this spring.
