Martin Poipoi earned his Masters degree in International Affairs and Administration (renamed Global Studies) in 2006. He was on campus with his father and a family friend and stopped by to visit Dr. Dennis Hickey. Originally from Kenya, Martin is a Bank Information Technology Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in their Dallas field office.
The OCC’s primary mission is to charter, regulate, and supervise all national banks and federal savings associations. A bureau of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the OCC was created 150 years ago by President Abraham Lincoln.

I had a great time touring the campus once again with my dad. This was a highlight of his 3 month visit in the US. Thanks to Dr. Hickey for your warm welcome, I hope other students remember to go back and visit!!
