Getting a passport stamped isn’t unusual for international traveler Dr. Ashley Leinweber. Ashley was kind enough to share some photos from her domestic adventure this summer.
Here she is with her new U.S. National Parks Passport in the Badlands, South Dakota.
Moving west, Ashley hung out with some American presidents, hit Yellowstone for her birthday, and visited the park’s largest hot spring (3rd largest in the world), the Grand Prismatic Spring.
After reaching Oregon and Multnomah Falls (one of my personal favorites), Ashley’s return trip brought her to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks in Utah and Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado.
Of course, you cannot begin such a journey without stopping at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD. It’s a rule!
