Electrical Outage Postponed
We learned this morning that the electrical outage scheduled for this Saturday, December 20, has been
postponed. Because freezing temperatures are predicted for Saturday the risk of freezing pipes during the outage is considered too great to proceed with the original plans.
The outage, which is necessary for the renovation work in Siceluff, will be re-scheduled for a future time that will impose minimal impact to the campus. We will let you know when we learn more about those new plans.
In the meantime, the good news is that faculty will now have access to their offices if they need to come in Saturday to post their grades before the noon deadline. The computer lab in Glass will also still be open if anyone needs to use those facilities.
I hope everyone has a wonderful and restful holiday. Be safe.
John Catau, Associate Provost
