Last Call for Nominations for U.S. Professors of the Year Awards Program 2013
Please send Missouri State University faculty nominations to fctl@missouristate.edu by Friday, January 18, 2013. Three faculty candidates will be selected for submission of application materials to the U.S. Professors of the Year Award Program.
The submission of nomination packets will begin in January 2013.

MSU Professor Receives U.S. Professor of the Year Award for 2012
History Professor, Dr. Eric Nelson, was named the 2012 Missouri recipient of this prestigious award.

MSU Foundation Awards for Excellence in Teaching, Research,
and Service
Nominations for 2012–2013 are being accepted now
The Missouri State University Foundation Awards for Excellence in Teaching, Research, and Service are intended to provide incentives for continued performance to a select number of full-time faculty who evidence significant accomplishments in teaching, research and/or creative activities and service. The awards are funded by the MSU Foundation.
Six awards are presented annually at the All-Faculty Recognition Reception held in May of each year, and each recipient will receive a $3,600 award.
Faculty members do not need to be nominated to submit application material. Download the 2013 application form. Nominations are due to the Provost Office by Monday, December 10, 2012. Application materials will be due in Departmental Offices by Monday, January 28, 2013. Please view the 2013 Guidelines for additional information.
Showcase on Assessment
Date: Wednesday, January 23, 2013
Time: 1:00–5:00 p.m.
Location: Plaster Student Union
This conference will include a keynote speaker plus concurrent sessions featuring presentations by colleges on assessment activities and best practices in each area. Registration information will be available soon.
Any faculty member who is interested in presenting may contact an Assessment Council member from their college.
