Need your photo updated or a new one taken? Photographic Services will be taking portrait pictures of faculty, staff, and administrators free of charge! These photos are perfect for your department’s website and print projects. Professional or business casual attire is preferred. I am so excited about the brand new Summer Academic Writing Retreat on June 17th – 21st. If you have a summer writing project that you plan to complete, now is the time to commit to your goal. The summer writing retreat will offer you:

28th Showcase on Teaching and Learning – Passion. Inspiration. Innovation.

Location: PSU Ballroom and 3rd Floor conference rooms
Registration is now open for the 28th Showcase on Teaching and Learning!
The theme for this year’s Showcase is Passion. Inspiration. Innovation. There are over 50 faculty and staff who will be presenting during the morning sessions. This year’s Keynote Speaker is Ken Bain, author of the best-selling books, “What the Best College Teachers Do” (2004) and “What the Best College Students Do” (2012). Bain is a very inspirational speaker who is recognized around the world for his research in deep and sustained learning. He combines academic research with insights drawn from his own investigations and interviews with faculty and other highly successful individuals.
To register for the conference, go to My Learning Connection, click on Course Catalog and select Show All Classes; under Choose Category, highlight “Showcase on Teaching & Learning.” Next you will select “Conference Registration” to attend the morning Faculty presentations, and “Luncheon Registration” to attend the lunch and Keynote presentation. Once selected click on Add to Cart; then Check Out and Finalize.
