Showcase is a “welcome back” event for the Missouri State University teaching community and professional staff. Registration is important for the “lunch and keynote speaker” in order to provide a food guarantee to Chartwells Catering Services.
The theme for this year’s Showcase is Passion. Inspiration. Innovation. There are over 50 faculty and staff who will be presenting during the morning sessions. This year’s Keynote Speaker is Ken Bain, author of the best-selling books, “What the Best College Teachers Do” (2004) and “What the Best College Students Do” (2012). Bain is a very inspirational speaker who is recognized around the world for his research in deep and sustained learning. He combines academic research with insights drawn from his own investigations and interviews with faculty and other highly successful individuals.
