Chinese New Year Celebration
Dates: Monday through Saturday, February 3–8
The Modern and Classical Languages department, the China Programs Office, College of Humanities and Public Affairs and the MSU Chinese Faculty and Staff Club invite the campus community to become more knowledgeable about the Chinese New Year Festival and related Chinese culture. International Internships and Practicums Session with Study Away
Study Away will host an International Internships session offered by International Studies Abroad on Tuesday, January 28 at 4 p.m. in PSU 314A. Faculty and staff advisors are encouraged to share this news with students who seek international experiences in the arts, business, communication, education, environmental studies, health, hospitality, human rights, social work and technology. Advisors are invited to attend to learn about internship and practicum options for their students. Digital Professor Academy for Spring 2014
The Digital Professor Academy is designed to assist faculty with developing an online course and teaching in an online environment. A significant portion of the DPA is delivered online providing an online learning experience from the student perspective. During the DPA, faculty will also have opportunities to participate in hands-on workshops and develop their online course with the support of Instructional Designers in the FCTL.

Using Blackboard to assess your students is a useful way to gauge learning and comprehension in your course.
