Things are Gearing up!

We are getting ready to start our reapplication process.  The reapplication process is where our current students reapply to live on-campus for the upcoming academic year.  We have moved this process up to accommodate our incoming students to select their rooms beginning in January.

Our current students can decide to come back to their same room next year or be bold and move to another new adventure in a different building.  We see a lot of movement across campus during this process.  Upper-class students tend to migrate to the north side of campus–24/7 visitation is always a big draw for upper-class students.

The reapplication process begins on November 17 with students being able to retain their present room.  The next big hurdle is December 1 when LLC (Living-Learning Community) students and students in Scholars House can move around!

Feel free to go to our main website and check the Reapplication process website. It’s a busy time of the year around here!  More information to follow….

Within the “LLC and Scholars” group, how is the order of reapplication determined? Is it based on credit hours? Also, are Hutchens 8 (honors floor) residents included in this group?

  2. Lenord McGownd says:

There are no further groupings inside the Scholars House and LLC groups. The process will begin at 8AM on December 1. These groups are allowed to move themself to another space on the first day of the General Room Selection. Current students residing on the 8th Floor of Hutchens may also move to another room on this day.
