Missouri State University officials have recently assembled a search committee tasked with choosing the University’s next Student Governor.
The Student Governor serves as a non-voting member of the Board of Governors, which oversees all facets of the University. Appointed by the Governor of Missouri for a two-year term, the Student Governor attends all Board of Governors meetings in order to provide a student’s perspective.
The position of Student Governor is one of great responsibility and reward. Working with the Board of Governors means the Student Governor will make a lasting impact on campus as well as often being the first to know of exciting University news. Additionally, the position presents an excellent opportunity to network with well-respected leaders throughout the state.
Students interested in applying for this position are encouraged to submit a completed application to the Student Government Association office in PSU 123 by 4:00 pm on Monday, December 12th. Applications may be found at: http://sga.missouristate.edu/Uploads/documents/forms/SBOG%20Application.PDF
