Student Activities Council (SAC) is the student programming board on campus. We are responsible for planning social, cultural, and diverse events ope to the entire student body. Our activities our funded through the student involvement fee that every student pays, so most of our events are free. We want to spend your money wisely, so we utilize an All Council, Executive Board and committees to make those decisions.
There are many levels to become involved and many leadership opportunities. Not interested in planning events, but want a say in what is going on? All-Council meets every Tuesday at 4pm in PSU 313. Here, you get to vote on proposed events! The 12-member Executive Board run All-Council and committee meetings and plan events. If you’d like to gain experience working out event details and dealing with budgets, look out for applications in late March.
There’s three steps that you can take to get more involved with Student Activities Council:
1) Come to an All-Council meeting on Tuesdays at 4pm in PSU 313.
2) Attend SAC events.
3) Stop by our office in PSU 115.
