Accounting Degree Review, a website that reviews and ranks the best accounting programs across the nation, placed Missouri State University’s accounting programs in the top five schools for affordability.
Students from the School of Accountancy at Missouri State University, who are IRS-certified, will provide free assistance with tax preparation and electronic income tax filing. The program is provided by the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinic Feb. 6-April 10 in Glass Hall, Room 434.
The Accounting Club at Missouri State University was recently recognized by the Institute of Management Accountants. The chapter was the recipient of the Award of Excellence and the Outstanding Student Chapter award and received a cash award of $1,000 in recognition of this achievement.
