Sports Medicine and Athletic Training faculty member Kristin Tivener was interviewed on Ozarks Public Radio KSMU yesterday where she was discussed simulation being used within the athletic training program at Missouri State University.
The high-fidelity simulation lab is being used by Tivener to supplement athletic training students’ clinical experiences in order to provide them with opportunities to respond to real-world high risk emergencies such as a victim who is pulseless and breathless.
