The tradition continues! A new Student Governor was recently appointed here at Missouri State University to sit on the Board of Governors as the student voice of campus. The new student, Caleb Doyle, is a junior at Missouri State majoring in Secondary History Education. Throughout his time at MSU, Caleb has been heavily involved in many campus activities. Doyle co-founded Missouri State Improv and served as both the Campus Events Chair and the Vice President of Marketing for Student Activities Council. After graduating high school in St. Louis, Missouri, Doyle originally attended the University of Missouri before making the decision to transfer to Missouri State. When asked about his excitement for the position, Doyle had this to say, “I am really excited about this position because I think Missouri State is entering into a Golden Era right now. The focus lately has been enhancing the Bear experience by way of improving facilities and promoting the Missouri State identity. I think this focus has put Missouri State into a position to become more excellent than ever before. It’s like the key is in the ignition and over this next school year we’ll be turning the key.” Caleb Doyle can be followed on Twitter at his personal account @Doylethegreat or his professional account @StudentGov_MSU.
