Student Organization Spotlight: Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on November 17, 1911 at Howard University by three undergraduate students, Bishop Edgar Amos Love, Dr. Oscar James Cooper and Professor Frank Coleman. Joining them was their faculty adviser, Dr. Ernest Everett Just. We were established on the campus of Missouri State University on December 18, 2004. We the members of the Omicron Kappa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., believe that men of similar ideas of fellowship should bind themselves together in order to form a more perfect union among college men, to promote the principle of manhood, scholarship, perseverance, and uplift. We are committed to not only serving as leaders on the campus of Missouri State but also engaging our community and making a positive impact in the world around us.
