Student Organization Spotlight: Student Community Action Team (SCAT)

March 4, 2013 by

SCATThe Student Community Action Team (SCAT) is a student organization that allows motivated work study students to volunteer for non-for-profit organizations in the Springfield community while being paid an hourly wage of $9.00.  SCAT is making a difference in Springfield by providing students the opportunity to use the skills they are learning in the classroom to better non-for-profit organizations and by providing these non-for-profit organizations with consistent, trained workers at no cost to them!  If you are interested in being a part of SCAT please attend the Recruitment Mixer on March 18, 5:00-6:00, PSU 308AB, or email Nicole Pounds at SCAT@MissouriState.edu.
